I’m Cameron Pavey. I live in Melbourne, Australia.

I've always had a thing for computers, and I've always enjoyed writing. I've been a professional Software Developer for a bit over 5 years now, and a while ago I shifted my focus away from raw technical skills, to focus on the code quality side of things.

I've spent some time consulting with startups, and reviewing code bases, and one thing that has stood out to me is that quality is not as ubiquitous as it should be. There are a lot of reasons for this, and I'm not going to go into them here, but I do think that there is a lot of value in sharing what I've learned, and what I've seen.

On this blog, I'll be sharing my thoughts on tech, code quality, and anything in the industry that I find interesting. I'll also be sharing some of my personal projects, and some of the things I've learned along the way.
